Celeste mentioned my being due a week ahead in another post and it reminded me to ask the group what they think...
My official EDD if you go by a 35 day cycle is 11/30. I held onto this one because it also means should I transfer care to a doctor, I won't be pressured as early to be induced.
But everyone wants to go with the usual 28 day cycle EDD of 11/23.
My MWs are using 11/23. My mother. My husband. My friends. Everyone. And now that the MWs have officially used the EDD of 11/23 in all their books, if I transfer, that date will transfer with me.
I am eligible for a homebirth next Friday instead of two Fridays from now due to the discrepency in the dates. That scares me too because I would hate for baby to be a wee bit too premature, you know?
I am TIRED of having to say, "I am 34-35 weeks, depending on whom you ask." Or otherwise justifying the differences.
So what would you all do? Just go with the 11/23 so I don't have to keep explaining and/or getting aggravated? Or do I stick with the 11/30 EDD because Celeste is feeling left behind
