Baby just turned Breach!

I am so frustrated right now. : I just returned from my mw appt. and baby is no longer head down. He has been head down the ENTIRE time and just now turned over. She says that he has room and can flip back before 36 wks. But I worry that he won't because he has been head down so long what would make him start doing flips now? I was sort of expecting this because last night I felt hiccups above my bellybutton and I knew that wasn't right because they have always been so low, but I tried to shake it off.
So I guess I have to wait to see in 2 weeks and she said if he doesn't turn back down we will try to turn him.
I just thought I should share. Anyone else breach?

This exact thing happened to me this week and s/he is already back with head down.

I felt hiccups above my belly button early this week and was floored! I had been worrying that this babe who has been head down the entire pregnancy would suddenly turn.

But the babe almost immediately returned to the familiar positions, except my stomach feels and looks a little different. I don't know why that is, but the MW confirmed head down today.

Though she had a hard time telling at first if it was butt or head, she got the HB at the lower belly, so babe should be nestled head down okay.

My most confusing thing is that I feel most movement on my left side, yet baby is supposedly facing right. Unless this baby is a serious contortionist and can put it's arms and legs behind it's body, I don't know how that could be.

Maybe baby flips back and forth LOA to ROA because as she was getting the HB from the baby's trunk on the left, I felt the limbs moving on the right. Now baby is back in the fave spot moving limbs on the left. Seems baby knows how to perform for the MWs because the ONLY time it's facing right is during my appointments!!!!

He does still have room to turn back again! Hopefully he'll cooperate!

Also, http://www.spinningbabies.com is a great resource.

He can still flip! Mine flipped on her own at 36w 2d. There are many good threads on how to encourage him to flip. The spinningbabies.com site is great too.

I know your frustration! On Tuesday I took a water aerobics class. After the class I told DH that the baby wasn't moving at all and I couldn't get it to move. It also felt different. We figured out it was head up. I cried and freaked! DH was a good support. I really paid attention to its position. I felt slight movements once in a while. Wednesday morning I cried! I went swimming again and worked on relaxing my abdominal muscles. I spent two hours in the pool gently rubbing my belly in the direction the head was leaning. I would rub and then relax and play, rub and relax and play. Finally the baby was transverse. I rubbed and massaged somemore. I got its rear up and the head in my hip. I got out of the pool and took a walk. Then had supper. It felt weird having the head pressing so hard on my hip. I don't know why it would n't slip down. I took a nap and when I woke up I felt a plop in my belly. I told DH it has either turned head up or down completely. I felt and it was down. What a relief! !!!!!!! I am not going swimming again until after the baby is born. I did something in water aerobics that the baby didn't like! I also have been told that the pressure from carrying a toddler on my belly it so much for the babies head and that can cause it to be more comfortable breech. I don't know. I just know it is down right stressful!!

www.spinningbabies.com is a great site!!

My DH was back and forth breach until 39 weeks. It was a huge stress! I did not want that again.
