Oh mama, I can't even imagine what you've been through. I had read about this but had no idea it was in Nebraska. I just moved from there 6 months ago and am now in California awaiting a mid-wife assisted birth in May. If I would have been delivering in NE, I would have declined all things since I've done a lot of research since then. I don't know if I could have been as strong as you. God bless you and your sweet family.

OMG I am crying. I am so so sorry that happened to you mama. I am so enraged right now thinking of my nursing 1 yr. old.

I feel so impotent (sp?)

Ugh, this is horrible.

I just wanted to post an update. On Friday, January 25th at 1:30 there will be a hearing of the health and human services committee. If any of you know anyone in Nebraska that could attend to show support, it would be greatly appreciated. Or you can e-mail asking these senators to support LB809.

Ask jsynowiecki@leg.ne.gov to make this his priority bill.

Ask these to let LB 809 go the floor for a vote.

perdman@leg.ne.gov;

Sure will! My half-sibs are of your faith (my BIL is an Elder), and I have friends from your state -- after all I am a Navy Wife! I'll be passing this on...

Thanks. We really want to surprise the committee with a good showing. They think it does not matter to anyone else.

momofmany, I am sad and horrified for you. You sound so traumatized, keep talking sbout it. You are also so very brave. I am glad baby is safe at home with you.

Keep working for justice.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did, but probably a little late to good much good. However, it is not too late to e-mail the committee and ask them to support LB809
