Talk to me about bloody show

What does it mean when you start to have it? Does it mean labor is soon, or is it like dialation where you could go several more weeks?

I'm having a tiny bit tonight. I had none with my first labor.

I did have my cervix checked this morning, but that was about 10 hours ago. If it was a result of that wouldn't it have come on sooner?

I posted this same thing this morning! I am guessing it was the cervix check.

Ironically, I called the Dr and said...I am having some bloody show, I think it may have been the cervix check but not sure cause I don't usually do them....and her reply....yes, it probably was the cervix check, but why don't you come in and let's check your cervix.

Probably due to the cervix check which may or may not mean anything.

When I had bloody show with my oldest (no cervix check) I was in labor that day.

Okay, good then. I really want to go at least two more weeks, preferably 3. Okay, I really don't want to be preg for that long, but I really do want to at least go full term.

With dd, I went into labor 3 days later.
