My DD was an April baby in Kansas, warm that year, and same thing. Must be a Kansas thing....

Loyalty to that church, paying the tithe, and baby socks. All a requirement for older generation Christians. I am totally serious.

Did I mention I go to a UU Church (All faiths)? And some how they still loved to judge and worry and bother me. This time I am putting baby in lots of wool as some of the more annoying nags are allergic to is so at least they will have to keep their distance! Love them but WOW

I am the mommy dang it!

I had the hardest time keeping socks on my ds when he was a baby, and I finally tried socks from Children's place, not their regular looking ones, but the newborn infant ones that look like little sweat socks. They were amazing, they stayed on, they are not constricting at all, and they are warm. If they still sell them I'm definitely going to buy some for this baby - the prices are really good there too!

Yes, it was an Episcopal church, so there were several older people.
