My nephew was born Saturday! Lots of good stuff to tell, but I thought you'd all enjoy hearing this: so my SIL used "respite care" on Sunday night for 4 hours so she could sleep (she hadn't slept since Friday, had a huge tear, etc.) and the nurses asked her if they should bring baby in for nursing or if they could give him a few cc's of formula. She OK'd the bit of formula since he was already nursing well for his age and she was so spent. She literally doesn't remember that day! So the next day, the ped. comes in to check him, and when he heard that she had allowed formula, said, "well...OK, just this once - but don't do it again!"
A refreshing change.

A refreshing change.
