Newborn Baby Pics

Ok so it is not MY baby, not even a real baby. LOL It is my daughters yule/christmas gift. Custom made for her, waldorf newborn weighted doll that is made for newborn cloths. I had to open it when she was in bed and hold baby and love on baby and put baby in the baby swing. My heart was going a million times a minute when I put baby back in the packageing and retapped and put in my closet. Not sure why.... emotional I guess.....

Here is baby in the packing bag (sorry lights are low, could not bring attention to my room. LOL)

That's a cute little doll. Where did you get it? My son has a Cabbage Patch kid, but.... it's just not the same.

Geez, if I had something newborn sized to dress up right now I would TOTALLY be dressing it up and hauling it around in a sling and putting it in diapers.

Hmm, the cat is about newborn sized. Hey Frieda, c'mere!

I just can not get caught with it. LOL It is the most costly thing she will be getting this year as it is very costly, more then that baby swing even and I ordered it months ago. It is one of those toys though that should be able to be passed down to her grand kids even.

We are trying to live simply but also waldorf homeschool. Quality over quantity. Hard for us though as not used to paying this much for toys, but they last and are natural. Can you tell I am still sticker shocked? LOL I saved to get it for her. It is so big though, hope it fits in her baby sling or I might have to get her a adult ring sling. LOL Her and I can share them. hehehehe

It's very very cute Kimmy and I'm also wondering where you got it from. I know you can order a lot online as special orders and I'm considering doing that for DD next year so I'm searching for recommended sites...

DD has a really creepy baby doll (with plastic head and feet and hands but cloth body) that fits newborn diapers and we keep on dressing it up too. Actually she's going through a phase when she loves to put dipes on all her dolls and stuffed animals, which is quite amusing since most of them are very small so I have to use the tiniest dipes we have on the smallest settings.

Thanks for the link. I've bookmarked it. I like the fact that the doll you got can sit up. We have 2 dolls here and neither one can to the eternal disapproval of DD.

Oh, she will love it so much! What a great idea to give her "her own baby". For Isaac's one year birthday I gave him a Waldorf doll that looks like him (just a 12 inch one, but perfect size for a one yr. old) He loves that doll and takes "Dayda" with him everywhere. His nose is even starting to go threadbare because he is so well loved. I am thinking of making a sling so that ds can wear Dayda while I wear the baby.
