ARGH. I guess this is my 3rd baby curve-ball... I have get on the ironing board 3 times a day...go to the chiropractor and to the acupuncture...somehow...with my dh gone Monday-Thursday and very limited childcare...

Would someone please repeat back to me all of the encouraging things that I've said about breech babies? I'm trying not to worry and panic, but I really feel like crying. Haven't I dealt with enough this pregnancy?:

Best of luck turning your baby--if she (am I remebering right that you are having a girl?) turned this late, she'll probably turn again.
I think there are lots of yoga postions that are supposed to help, and I've also heard about doing handstands in a pool, which sounds like it would be fun to try...

Thanks. I am feeling unbelievably discouraged. I'm very surprised that my midwives said that this could mean a transfer. They are trying to tell me not to worry and that they aren't worried...that baby has plenty of time to turn. But, it still feels like a big blow. I have enough on my plate without having to worry about getting this baby to turn around and stay that way. I'm feeling really resentful of him, and that just makes me feel like a big jerk. This is supposed to be my easy baby...

I feel your pain mama! Mine just turned this week. Try not to get too tense. There is a theory that babies can sense that and try and keep themselves (heads) closer to your heart for comfort. I webstered and inverted and she still seemed to turn when she felt like it.

Sending you turning vibes.

I think my baby flipped last night, I was in so much pain. I worry about checking myself again, I swear last time I did I felt baby head so dang low! I need baby to stay in and do not want baby to come now soooooooo checking sounds bad. Better is not to worry about baby as baby is moving and what will be, will be. I need to ask my midwives if they will deliver baby breech. Honestly I never worried about that before.

Don't give up! There's still time. My oldest was still breech AFTER her due date, but decided to be born the day before her induction was scheduled and DID turn on her own for delivery. Wishing you the best.
