I just found out I'm pregnant again (like 4/5 weeks) but i really want to be proactive and start finding a midwife NOW. I've called a few different midwives in the Bay Area but none have called back (all had message machines), and I'm worried its because of where I live. I posted in FYT and got a few new leads who I just called and left messages for, but most midwives in this area are in SF and I'm worried they won't travel that far (I'm about an hour out w/o traffic, it takes me an hour and 45 mins with evening commute traffic).
Is anyone on here doing home birth in Antioch, CA? Or know someone who is? I'm ok with even a midwife in training or something, I trust my body, I'd just really like some support in the pregnancy and birth process....
