In the other thread, a few gals were talking about how they bought new jeans. That fit. And they promptly got pregnant. So, fess up, who went shopping before they peed on a stick?

I thought it was just me who had this problem. I bought 2 new pairs of pants (including jeans) 3 days before I tested. Fortunately the tags were still on the jeans so I returned them but I had worn the other pants. :

I didn't buy new jeans, but I was so convinced that we missed the egg this month, I bought $50 worth of OPKs and pregnancy tests (AND a bbt!) off the internet 4 days before my BFP. I was gearing up for next month.

I got the package the same day as my BFP.

I DID have a yard sale and sell almost all my baby items. Most of it I don't care about because we never used it (crib bedding, pack n play, crib itself....they collected dust for a long while) but my DD1 was a very fussy baby and I NEEDED our baby swing for my sanity. I had one of those fancy swings that went side to side....120 dollars, yeah, sold it for 30. I also gave our infant carseat to a friend (who knew me through the life of it and knew it was never in an accident). Most of her clothes are gone too except for 1 bag I kept of special outits....I think I actually got pregnant over that yard sale weekend LOL. I was talking to my LLL leader about it and she said thats how it always happens

I did! Paid full price for them and everything. I tried wearing them today, but they are too tight around the waist already

I didn't really buy any new clothes....but I was halfway through a big weight loss spree. : I'd lost about 25 lbs. since February....and wanted to lose another 25. I guess that goal is going to have to wait until next year! At least I won't be as far in the hole as I would have been!

Oh my goodness! What a bizarre coincidence—I haven't bought jeans in at least 7 years and have been wearing too-big hand-me-downs. A few weeks ago I decided to bite the bullet and buy full-price ($58!!) jeans that actually fit and looked great on me. About a week later I found out I was preggers. It'll be quite a while until I fit into a 6 again!

Okay, so now I need to know... who bought an elf costume?

Yeah, I bought a pair of jeans in early September because the two pairs I've had since before I got pregnant with my 18mo started disintegrating. After holes from the pocket edges, in the crotch, on the inside of my thighs and on my knees I gave up and relegated them to gardening apparel. And since I don't have many clothes, I needed at least one more pair.

So now I have the one pair of jeans that still fits so far (although my underwear's starting to get too tight, go figure), a pair of fleece stretchy/yoga pants and two regular pairs of yoga pants. That and shirts is my current wardrobe.

I bought some capris for the summer. Not as bad as jeans for the winter, but they are already too small.

I recently lost 30 pounds so my jeans were falling off! I kept all my larger clothes though, knowing I'd need them PP again.

I answered no, but now that I think of it, I did buy some. They are a little big though, so they'll probably last a while.

Actually, I bought pants for the first time in probably 8 or 9 years. I've only worn skirts during that time, but I decided to get some pants for the cooler weather. Actually, the jeans I got are too big (I mentioned before, but I'm underweight from nursing DS and the smallest size at Target was 2, which is apparently too big for me). So hopefully they'll fit for a bit. I have no clue what to expect in terms of "showing" this time around; last time I was small until very late!

I bought a bunch of new pants about 3 weeks before I found out I was pregnant and was back into a size I hadn't seen in 5 years. LOL...at least I didn't actually get rid of my "fat pants" yet. I have the feeling I might need them for a while

Just bought the first new, non-maternity pants I've had in about four years... a pair of jeans and two pairs of cords. I was so excited to be back in what *I* still considered to be my pre-pregnancy size.... and they matched my new mai tei, lol.

Oh, well! Guess they'll be in great shape for next fall....
