Sigh, getting sick

So after managing not to get sick (as in, with something non pregnancy related) so far, I am now getting a miserable wicked cold, complete with sore throat, sweating eyelids, stuffed nose, stuffed ears and all the rest of the joys of a cold.

Hoping to kick it fast. I remember getting a cold the week before I went into labour with DD, so maybe I'll think of it as an early labour sign?

In the meantime, I'll just eat lots of oranges. Any other hints on how to survive a cold during pregnancy?

I'm having similar symptoms, but I know mine is just seasonal allergies and the changes in the weather. It keeps bouncing between late fall and late summer here, and you never know just how to dress... My head feels like it's so big and heavy that it's going to snap off my neck.

Argh, that stinks! Just push the vitamin C and liquids...and rest! Maybe saline solution for your nose?

Hope you feel better soon!
