I'm sick of hearing it!

Sorry for the rant...but it's making me crazy. I'm sick of hearing, "You're carrying sooooo low, you must be uncomfortable." The truth is I am uncomfortable SOMETIMES. But truly I feel great most of the time. It just irks me because I believe in the power of suggestion. I wonder if I wouldn't have even more time feeling great if people weren't always telling me that I should be uncomfortable.

I'm short (5'3") and still small (only 128 lbs) with this ginormous belly that can literally sit on the couch on its own. But seriously the uncomfortable time is nothing compared to the comfortable time.

I just wish people could avoid commenting. Period.

Yeah, if I hear the "You're STILL pregnant? Oh you poor thing!" one more time I'm gonna scream. Yeah, I'm uncomfortable and yeah, I want this kid out of me as much as the next person but for cryin out loud...

AHH yes, "people" I swear there is just nO etiquette anymore! I was told twice yesterday I look like i am having twins.. yeah, like, ummm, thaaanks... for the record I measure at 33 cm (at almost 38 wks) and have only gained 25 lbs on my 5'9" frame. (and I started out a tad underweight at 125). granted, my belly is BIG and round but no more than it should be... some people!

I want a shirt that says, "FEAR ME. FEAR MY HORMONES."

I hate the assumption that I'm just dying to pop this kiddo out. I'm a bit uncomfortable, but I'm just fine having baby in rather than out at this point.

Even more mind-boggeling than the rudeness is the persistant rudeness. I had a woman walk up to me in the store the other day and say 'So your going to give birth right here, aren't you?' I said, in a dead pan voice 'um, no' and walked away. She proceeded to FOLLOW ME around and tell me how huge I am and how uncomfotable I look, as I did my best to ignore her. Honestly!:

I had another woman say something similar to me at Costco, and again I walked away and she (luckily a sample lady, so she couldn't leave her station) called out to me telling me how huge and uncomfortable I look... Yeah--that's what I want to hear right now.

But, I do love all the nice ladies who ask how far along I am, tell me how much they love being moms, or how happy I look.

People can't help but say that stuff to me, I'm limping and holding my back, walking slower than the elderly, and I probably look pretty darn pathetic.

But I can see how that would get grating if you were feeling pretty good!
