anyone have any suggestions on sites that have the best offerings of gifts and so forth where you upload pics of you kids and family and make calendars, mouse pads, bags, etc? i know some have to have better quality and more options and the best prices and i thought that with the holidays fast approaching it might be nice to know where everyone gets their photo gifts i have used shutterfly b4 but that is about it.

I've used a lot of online photo places for just printing pics, but I've only used shutterfly to do the other gift stuff. Not sure if you are interested in the photobooks, but I did one as a guestbook for my sis' wedding last month and it turned out fantastic! Very nice pics, even the older photos with less resolution, and the book was professional looking as well. Here's some pics I took:

I know, I know, it is an obscene amount of pics to take of a book, but it was my sis' wedding! I may have gone a little overboard. : But it does give you an idea of the formats they have available. It was very easy putting the book together. They offer page formats with up to 5 pics, mixed with text or just text if you want. The cover and back page can also have pics too. They had a lot of options.

Sorry if I wrote your ear off!

I also ordered some mugs last year but I can't remember which ones. The pics turned out nice on those. Can't tell how well they last because I have a sneaking suspicion that my mom doesn't even use hers just to keep it nice-looking. I do know it irritated me because it is the type of mug where you put it in the microwave and the handle gets hots. I always hate that!

Yeah, I was really pleased with how professional the photobook turned out. The only prob I had with it was they bound the pages in upside down the first time. I just emailed them and they sent me a new one within the week! I've thought about doing a calender for the Grandparents too. Somehow I think it wouldn't be that hard to find 12 pics to fill it up. My dd gets a lot of pics taken of her too.
