Anyone else still POAS?

I'm feeling a little obsessive - I do it every few days... just to see the line be dark. Anyone else want to admit they do that too??
I did it a few days ago when I wasn't feeling very pregnant
If I had unlimitted funds, I'd do it again. But I can't justify the expense.
I think it's just that I had the 48-hour hcg draws with DS, and then a 6 week and a 9 week u/s, and this time around I don't have any of that. But at this point I suppose I've just accepted that I'm pregnant, and my nausea is not just in my head :P

yup...

I had a day where I just felt 'too good', and started to obsess over it. The test line showed up IMMEDIATELY, and was way darker than the control line. I've gone back to feeling crappy, lol, I should just enjoy the good days!

I did once after my first two positives, just because I had a cheapy left and figured what the helll I don't have the desire to go out and buy more though, so I guess thats good.

I've thought about it but I'm so paranoid that it will fade, LOL.

I've always had a POAS phobia...this is nothing new

Ha ha!
We had a bunch of $ Store tests DH got the day I had my blood test done so those are the only one's I'm using, there's no way I'd use "real" tests to be silly with. I shouldn't even be using those... but I can't help it.

I never did this before, and I totally feel silly doing it now, but a girl's gotta do what she's gotta do!

No. But now I feel like I should! Ah.

All the talk of blood levels makes me paranoid too. I've never had any of that checked. Just plan on seeing a MW at 12 weeks and then trying to hear on fetoscope at 18 weeks.

Well MY blood test was "are you pg" test - no #'s associated with mine - I just couldn't stand trying to figure out if the tests WERE positive or not! I didn't get any hcg #s or any re-draws, it was just a "you're pg/you're not pg" kind of test.

I am with you on finding the heartrate with a fetoscope around that time too (I don't think I heard it until last time at 24w when I first tried - it was so cool I cried). It sounds so incredible through a fetoscope too... it's very clear (though not loud) and very warm sounding.

Except I won't be seeing anyone unless I change my mind - I do my own pg care. So don't be influenced by us POAS'ers, no need for extra stuff, I just can't help doing it.

Me too!!!

I've peed on sooo many dollar store tests! I even leave a positive test out in the br to look at it when I wasn't feeling pg. Now the nausea and fatigue have set in so I'm beginning to feel pg. Don't think I'll be poas so often.

I've only POAS twice this time, and I'm now waiting for my beta. However, unlike my last 3 pregnancies, DH can see the 2nd line! I'm utterly thriled about this, because maybe I really am pregnant and not just crazy and maybe this one will stick!!!!

Guilty

I did.... for the same reason as some others....I just wasn't feel pg. I had 2 tests left and since this will be our last, I figured why not.....I do so love seeing that 2nd line appear...although nothing beats that first bfp.

I am saving that last test in case we have an oops after this little one is born

I had an extra DT test, so I peed on it this morning, 22 DPO. Nice and dark and pretty.
While I was waiting to get my hair cut, it was all I could do NOT to run down to Dollar Tree.

Believe me, I'd be POASing if I had 'em.

Guilty as Charged! Took two tests the first two days after suspecting and took one again yesterday...I will do my best to restrain myself in the future
post #15 of 16
Ok so I haven't done this yet (since my initial + test at 14 dpo). But I'm contemplating POAS again next week before my MW appointment. I don't really FEEL pregnant, and I would feel awfully silly if I walked into a first prenatal appointment and they said, "um... you're not pregnant"!

I have another dollar store test and think I will tonight. I just made a new thread because I am having some odd discharge, and saw that other thread about the mom who had two BFPs but wasn't pregnant. (???) My midwife told me that wasn't possible unless you are on certain meds. At least I am still nauseous and tired.
