Talk to me about overbites

Hi there,

DD is 3.5 and at her dentist apt recently, he told me that she has a 100% overbite.

Is this something she can grow out of? Or will it just stay this way until we do something about it?

He talked about how adults who have this tend to have TMJ. Is there a connection?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
