I'm looking for a doula-in-training in the Dallas area?

I'm new here, but I was hoping you all could point me in the right direction. I'm hoping to find a doula-in-training for my homebirth in April. This will be my second labor/birth. I didn't have a doula the first time around.

Thanks for any help you can give me,

Laura

Try bellywomen.net, I posted that I was looking for a student doula and got many responses. Or get intouch with Linda Worzer, naturalbeginningsonline.com- I sent her an email telling her I was looking for a student doula and she referred several my way over a period of time. There are PLENTY of students looking for moms, so I think you'll have plenty of luck!

Thank you so much! Linda Worzer was actually my Bradley instructor for my first labor. I started an e-mail to her last weekend and then got interrupted and I forgot to ever send it. I'm off to do that right now. I'll also check out that website. Thank you! I'm feeling very hopeful about finding someone.

You might also try getting in touch with alace, dona, and childbirth international, and ask them for the list of doulas in training in your area.

Too, check in "finding your tribe" in your state tribal area.

goodluck!

Hi Laura,
I am a doula finishing up my certification. I need one more birth before I can get fully certified. I would love to talk with you more if you are interested.
