Ruffly socks

So, I'm making a pillowcase dress in this adorable candycorn fabric, and I find myself wondering, "how, oh how, can I make socks with ruffles in this same fabric?" . I've seen them before, the regular white cotton socks that fold over with a ruffle sewn on the bottom of the cuff. Any ideas/patterns?

I know this is late, but for future reference...LOL I have made lots of these for dd, and if you finish or serge the ends so they dont fray kind of like a thick ribbon of fabric, you can then just sew it onto the bottom of the cuff, but if you stretch the sock while you sew, when you take it out from under the machine and it goes back to its orig form, the fabric will ruffle!! I had to play with it for a bit, but after figuring out a rhythm, they are really easy and soooo cute! HTH
