OP, you need to sign up wth a feed service like www.bloglines.com. That way, you can see at a glance which of your favorite blogs have updated!

I try to write at least 5x a week in mine. I have two- one for personal stuff and one focused on our homeschooling. Both in my siggy. Thanks for the tips on increasing readership! I checked out everyone's blogs! Love finding new ones to read, thanks. And I love getting comments on my stuff, so enjoy!

I'm doing NaBloMoPo, so I'll be posting every day this month!
Who else here is doing it?

See, this is why I feel like my website actually ISN'T a blog. The idea of posting every day feels more like journaling, which I don't think would interest many people. I mean, I intentionally don't post very frequently because I work on my essays for a while before I hit "publish." I don't put anything purely conversational or things like, "blogger gave me trouble, sorry to all you RSSers who heard from me tons of times tonight!"

I did post a new essay this week: http://www.serenebabe.net/

I have found it fun, though, to see the HUGE range of blogs out there, though. I hope more of us announce our new posts in this thread, too. :-)

eta: wowsa! just went through and visited all your blogs. GREAT variety! So fun. (Can you tell I'm new to blogging? NOT new to writing essays on the web! ;-) Chloe, I LOVE the photos of the market.

Hi - I have a blog (see sig). It's very tongue in cheek and helps keep me sane while being a SAHM. Off to read the ones on here.

I'm doing nablopomo but not very inspired. I'm checking everyone's blogs as I get chance. What a lovely variety of styles and content. SereneBabe, I can't see your latest essay.

I have left a comment, although barely able to write with the laughter. I have such images of this George in my head and your ma's comment about the 'taters!! Hilarious!

Thanks! I'm getting more into photographing but know NOTHING about it and my camera is not fancy at all. I try though

And I know what you mean about not posting so frequently. That's one of the things that bugging me about NaBloPoMo. I don't feel as if all of my posts are the best they can be and sometimes just end up being "filler"... i guess the point isn't to have amazing content though but to just have fun and be creative. After it's done, I'll probably post more frequently than I used to but not every day... maybe take the weekends off or something to replenish my creative energy! haha. I definitely do try hard not to be one of those bloggers who just journals what they ate for lunch etc. Unless it's an awesome, seasonal recipe that is aesthetically pleasing of course

Thanks for checking it out. I've been having lots of fun with NaBloPoMo.

I also don't have a CLUE what a "feed" means! Is it hard to set up? What is it?

blog address in siggy

I'm loving all these momma blogs, and have even added a couple to my bloglines.

I blog at Green Mommy about green living and gentle parenting, and blog at Nourished Kitchen about wholesome food on a budget. Nourished Kitchen is kind of in transition right now as I'm finalizing appearance and all that good stuff.

Sorry that I just now saw this. I see that you figured it out though -- woo hoo! I can now read your wonderful musings every day with my Google Reader. I've got so many blogs to read and remember that if they don't have a feed, I forget to go!
