Body aches, no fever?

Hello ladies, I'm about 5 months pregnant and for the last 24 hours I have had severe body aches starting in the shoulders/back/chest and now moving down into the lower back/butt. Temp is in mid 99's. No cough, no congestion, no nausea, no diarrhea but swollen lymph nodes in the neck. Any ideas at all? I'm not finding any info anywhere and wondering if it warrants a call to my midwife. Also, can I take anything for the body aches? Even lying down hurts! TIA!

PS: DS (2yo) has had a fever spiking at 104 but responsive to Motrin during the same timeframe but also no cough, etc.

It sounds like a nasty virus. I would give my midwives a call, drink plenty of fluids and keep monitoring my temperature. You can take Tylenol for the achiness.

Thanks Nicole, I'll call her this morning.

Interesting side note: I took Tylenol last night which helped soooo much with the body aches but made my fever go up. It was the like whatever was hanging out in my muscles all of a sudden hot flashed out of me!
