What to do with these??

I have a bazillion plastic shopping bags. At least it seems that many.
I know there are things that can be made with then but I dont know what or how. Can anyone help me out with some ideas and how tos??

Also, I would really like to learn to crochet or knit or something. I dont really have anyone that can teach me. Are there any web sites with video classes or anything like that??

The uses for plastic shopping bags:

• garbage bags
• Stuffing for draft dodger that you put at the bottoms of doors or windows
• cut into long strips and used as yarn
• packing material for fragile objects that need cushioning
• worn like a sock inside snow boots to keep feet dry.
• taken back to the store to reuse next time you shop.
• as bags for customers next time you have a garage sale
• as drop clothes when the kids do something messy

If I had all the time in the world I could go on and on.

There are lots of knitting and crochet videos on youtube.

The using as yarn was kind of my idea. I just dont know how to knit in the first place. Do you use them just like yarn or is there a trick to it?
