Anyone else nesting yet?

Okay, it may sound crazy but my nesting instincts totally kicked in today! After I got DS down to sleep I just started cleaning! I also did a bunch of organizing earlier! In all honesty I think it has something to do with watching "Jon & Kate Plus 8" on TLC- those shows always inspire me- ya know lots of kids and these super moms who keep their homes spotless and everything is so organized! I aspire to be like them and I only have 1 (and a 1/2)!

Whos with me!?

Maybe to make you feel better, I bet these "zillions of kids" moms have helpers come over and clean (like church members, family members, etc.)

I only aspire to keeping my home to a point where I don't feel like everything smells, although my preg. nose kicked in yesterday--joy of joys.

Okay, that sounds bad. Hopefully, you know what I mean

I wish the nesting instinct would kick in. Currently, all my instincts say, "whatever you do, don't get off the couch." My house is suffering for it.

Yep, I'm in the same boat! The weird thing is I didn't have any psycho cleaning/organizing urges with my dd. I didn't do any over-the-top cleaning until the day before she was born...and one of the reasons I did that was to try and get labor moving She still doesn't have a "theme" in her room, just some random stuff on the walls, no matching furniture - it's all cute, but definitely eclectic

I spent the entire weekend cleaning house and planning where I want the new baby's furniture to go, how I want to decorate the room, I re-arranged the living room, organized my kitchen, etc. My husband put his foot down and stopped the madness when I got the baby wipes and started going through the house wiping down the baseboards!: I've spent the last couple hours at work making a list of what I want to do when I get home...

I desperately need the nesting bug to bite me in the @$$.
My house is a mess.
Partly because I have one round of canning left (so jars and canning crap is littered around the kitchen) and partly because the first trimester exhaustion is just killing me. I barely have enough energy to go make lunch for the kids - and they *have* to be fed.

I am starting to get like that. I don't have energy to do it right now but I sure am thinking about it lots. Does that count? Really I do feel the need to organize and get my house in tip top shape. It is 7 months away but it does go fast!

I have the urge just not the energy, it was like the second i took the pee test i started to feel the "morning" sickness and the low energy! maybe its mental. I am going to go mental if i dont start folding laundry, because i wont have a single place to sit in my livingroom. Clothes piled high, dishes needing washed and a whole house that needs decluttered and organized because i have to figure out how to fit 5 kids into a 3 bedroom house!!

Me! Me! Me!

I'm like why am I nesting already???? There's all this organizing I want to do. I already got on my hands and knees and scrubbed my bathtub that needed to be cleaned for the past 2 months *blushes*. What made me finally do it when I'm bloated and tired? It has to be the nesting. I also organized my daughters dresser and my closet. My next thing is to organize the blanket chest and empty out the small dresser we have, try to find a place for the stuff inside of it and hope thats enough room for the baby's clothes!
