Hemoglobinometer?

Which would you prefer using? A hemoglobinometer such as this:

or a hemoglobin analyzer such as this:

Both of my preceptors have the first one shown, I find it easy to use and have no problems with the method.... the price though! Wow! But maybe by the time that you are buying all the disposable strips for the second one, the price balances out over time? What do you all think?

I had used both before purchasing mine. I bought the first one. I got it off EBAY brand new for $120. It took 5 weeks of looking every few days until one got listed though.
