Does anyone have experience with this? What are the chances it will move? Stats? Thank you!

I have experience with it, but no stats. I was dxed with low lying placenta at 17 weeks, which became placenta previa by 24 weeks. I just had my 32 week u/s and it had moved completely away from the cervix (yay!).
Do you know if her placenta is anterior or posterior? I was told (but have not seen stats) that moving is *extremely* likely if the placenta is anterior (in the front), because of the way the uterus grows. The placenta never actually moves; it is attached to the uterus, and when the uterus gets larger, it pulls the placenta away from the cervix. Since the uterus grows towards the front, a placenta that is attached to the front of the uterus grows up and out, too, pulling it away from the cervix.
I was put on pelvic rest (nothing goes in the vagina including a penis), but otherwise had no modifications. I also had no bleeding, but was told to call at once if there was any.
