Anyone have experience with either company?

We have Banner Life. I was told it was AAA rated when we bought it almost 4 years ago. I'll keep my eye on this thread to see if anyone has any input.

I have West Coast because they gave me the best deal with cancer in my past. No complaints.

From www.ambest.com. Both look good. Go with whichever has the most favorable rates and terms.

We went with West Coast. I'd narrowed our choices down to three companies that cost the same and asked our insurance agent's opinion. He told me hands down, West Coast. I forget whether it was Banner or the other company he told me he wouldn't use though... So since he's been doing this thing for a number of years and knows his stuff, I trusted his opinion on it.

West Coast is much bigger (a lot more assets).

That's the one I've been leaning towards.
