My EDD changed!

I had my 2nd u/s today, and it turns out that either ff or my estimation was wrong. My baby is about a week ahead of where we thought, making my EDD May 28th now. I'll hang around though, since we all know a baby can be late.

Yeah, it surprised me too. I must have messed up my temps, or maybe got a sniffle and didn't realize it. The temp jump looked clear, but apparently it was late. Heh. It amuses me though.

Babes tend to be late, anyways, so yay for sticking around! Happy to see you on this thread; a PAL buddy!

Or it could simply mean your charts are correct and the U/S is off! They're notorious for being incorrect, but I'm sure you know that. I would trust what your heart tells you - if your chart is on, trust it!

I say go with your chart, not the u/s.

I would tend to agree, I bet your chart is right, U/S are notoriously off. But DDs are not such a big deal, only if you have a care provider that is going to pressure you into doing something you dont want if you are "past" due

This is why I always go with the later day. Hardly anyone questions an "early" baby, but if you hit 40-41 weeks, people start stressing out! Definitely go with the later date. And, stay on this list as it's much more fun to be one of the first moms to have a baby than one of the last! LOL!

I'm definitely not going anywhere (I like it here!), but the u/s is actually probably right. My medicated cycles make it extremely difficult to pinpoint an o date because the clomid messes with my temps (a lot!) at the beginning of the cycle. Plus, the u/s puts me o-ing very close to my HSG, which makes sense because when they did it, they found a follicle that was over 2 cm. It was definitely ready to go! Personally, I thought the chart was wrong. But my OB's are good. They'd let me go a week without going nuts, especially with the initial confusion. Plus it makes sense with my pregnancy test. I got a dark positive at what I thought was 8 dpo - that seemed off to me. Now I know why it seems off.

It sounds like you got a good ob, then!
