I love the shot you took from your perspective! It communicates so well exactly how I feel -- my belly seems to stick out so much *to me* but to others it doesn't look particularly abnormal.

I'm an amateur photog. I document using video, mostly I'm an editor documenting families with slideshows and video shorts.
And I still have taken a shot of the belly....seriously what's my problem?!!?

I'm so glad you said this. I was originally thinking how weird it was that my belly looked so different from different angles ... almost like the pictures "contradicted" each other. But you made me realize that they simply highlight how different it can look from different perspectives.

Oh, me too! I've done a few paid sessions in the last few months, but am mostly doing free work for friends (I've got a variety of stuff up on my flickr page). I'm considering turning it into a part-time business at some point, but it is a LOT of work :.

As someone who just shut down her part time photog biz, it is a LOT of work. More than I was willing to do while chasing 4 kids and knocked up again. ::sigh:: I miss it though.

We're going OT from the belly shot thread, but....
even PT with kids is a lot of work! My editing business is very part time and I also help my husband with his architecture firm. We barely have time to have fun! We keep telling ourselves it will be worth it an a few years

Cool Dog may also shut down after baby #2 comes./

I fully support the entrepreneurial spirit however!! I'll go check out the flickr shots.

This was a great idea, Chantel!! You all are so beautiful! this thread made me realize I haven't taken ANY pics of this one yet, and I took so many with #2 and #3 (although for most of them I don't remember how far along I was!)
Shamarico, not only do you look amazing, but your pictures are too. How did you get the writing on them? That is what I have wanted to do since #2. A progressive string of pictures showing every stage.
I will take some pics today and try to post them......now I just need to figure out how far along I am! I am due the beginning of May, too. Has anyone realized how many mamas are due in May? WOW!

I need to post my 12 week belly (Friday) and my belly NOW. It literally exploded today. I mean, I have a full on round belly above and below my belly button. Can you "pop" overnight? And I mean really POP.

Okay, whoever said they look huge looking down but not from the side is right. What a different perspective! I feel so big because looking down, I look a lot bigger than these photos show.
I guess I am in my 14 week ( I had to refigure due date, I know conception happened either first or second Friday or Saturday in August, but don't know LMP)

I popped too Mary! It's like my uterus is shoving all my organs into the pocket of skin I have on my tummy. I look 4 months pregnant! I lost a lot of weight after I had Izzy, so my belly is all deflated and round at the same time. VERY weird looking (and NOT CUTE! )
