Normal postpartum bleeding?

I just had my second CS 10/11. With my first, I hardly had any bleeding at all...less than a week. This time, the bleeding tapered off to almost nothing a few days ago...little enough that I could get by with a pantyliner, and it was hardly the color of blood anymore...more off white/brownish like the very end of a period.

Today I started bleeding bright red again, and almost feel like I have menstrual cramps. I'm not soaking pads or anything, but it's definitely a lot more blood than it's been for days. Anyone know if this is normal? After the throroughly miserable experience I had in the hospital I am in no hurry to call my OB for ANYTHING right now.

Have you been overdoing it? After DD was born, my flow increased again if I tried to do to much during that early post partum time.

nak...maybe. It didn't feel like too much at the time, mostly dealing with a toddler kind of stuff. Guess I should try to tone it down but it's getting harder since my help is kind of drying up on me. DH had to go back to work Mon.
