WTH? My water just broke....

Okay, FOUR times I've gone into labor and my water has broken about 20 seconds before the babe crowns. Well, this morning about 7am I turned over in bed and a small gush of definitely sweet smelling, blessedly clear fluid came out. I've had a few contrax w/fluid leaking out fairly consistently.

My dh is really nervous because my babes always come so quickly once my water breaks. My MW is a little calmer, but not much so.

Soooo, we're sitting here drinking coffee and waiting....

Wish me easy, quick labor vibes please!

Yeah, when I was in the bathroom I was shaking and my dh was worried I was in transition - I told him no, I think it's just excitement!

Thanks! Things are getting serious. Contrax coming about 2 minutes apart and the plastic sheet is on the bed and the midwife is on her way.

I'm just chilling out, eating cereal, surfing the web and watching Sesame Street w/my toddler. I LOVE homebirthing!

With my first birth (twins) my water broke about 10 seconds before baby A was born. And then broke again about 10 seconds before baby B was born.

With my second birth, my water broke and I didn't have any ctx til I got on the breast pump, 8h later.

With my third birth, last week, my water broke and I didn't have any good ctx for almost 48 HOURS.

By now I bet you are snuggling that babe and relaxing! Hope all went smoothly and easily!

(and you and YD are giving me hope, all my previous labors water broke last possible second, so this means if my water breaks this time, maybe I won't have to panic if I'm on my own )
