I'm okay - no baby yet.

As of last night, I was about 2.5cm dilated (as far as I can tell - I'm not experienced at this). So...I'm thinking it will be a few more days...

Ahhh Lisa, I went through this with Darci! Labor for days off & on. She was born 15 days after her "due date". I dont even really know how to calculate how long her labor was because it took days and weeks to get that baby out.
She was 10" 4 ounces and 22 1/2 long.
Labor was beautiful and so was the birth.
Sending you some of that dust!

It just occured to me that "checking MDC to see if she's posted recently" is a really funny way to determine if someone is in full swing labor yet!

Off and on wouldn't have surprised me that much. This has been...weird. After my initial 12 hours of having small contractions every 3 minutes, it hasn't been on and off. It's been pretty steady - just very, very slow. I had a few gaps of as much as 20 minutes on Monday, but I've had contractions at least every 7 minutes ever since...and mostly around 4-5. They've been a minute long for two days. OTOH, they're not super intense, so at least I'm getting some sleep. As long as I get enough rest, the long drawn out labour doesn't bother me.

Let me see...I'm now...16 days "overdue". That part doesn't bother me at all, though - I was fully expecting to be at least 12.

I do hope I have this baby before the end of the weekend, though - this has really played havoc with dh's work schedule.

Unless something changes, I can at least figure this one out easily. It started at 4:30 on Sunday. I know what you mean, though - I had weeks of "start and stop" pre-labour with ds2.

Hang in there Storm Bride! It sounds like things are moving slowly, and funkily, but they're moving. I hope your birth goes beautifully (and soon ).

The only VBAC I've seen was very slow going! VERY! But it resulted in a baby.
