How many first timers are out there??

I was just wondering...there seem to be a lot of women on this board who already have a kid/kids. I think this is great, being a first timer...I feel I will benefit from the wisdom of a woman who has been through pregnancy before

But I was wondering how many are expecting their first baby as I am.....

This will be my first! I've had two other pregnancies, but they didn't end well. I feel really positive about this one, though! I'm so excited- I'm constantly running through lists in my head of things I need to take care of, things I need to buy, furniture i need to arrange, when should I tell work, etc.

Thanks for starting this thread!

This is my first pregnancy, but not my first child—we have an almost 2-year-old son who came to us through adoption. So most of the parenting stuff is familiar to me, but the pregnancy, birth and newborn stuff is all new.

This will be our first, also. We are VERY excited even though we would have originally liked to wait just ONE.MORE.MONTH!

This is our first as well! We are very excited but lately I've felt so sick it's hard to keep the excitement going. I feel a bit better this afternoon, actually the best I have felt in about a week so hopefully this will last!

This is our first one as well. I'm in complete and utter shock still. It is slowly starting to sink in though.

My first also, at age 38 going on 39! I feel pretty shocked because I didn't think we could get pregnant. So much for thinking. We are sooooo excited, but I have to say I'm a bit scared too.

Do 2 positive at-home tests mean it's for real?

I just came back from seeing a GP at my local CLSC clinic, and though I insisted for a blood test to confirm this 100%, he said that two false positives, sore boobs and nausea mean I'm preggers. Anyone else have this experience?

I've never been pregnant and I'm SO not ready for this!
