craft glue to attach applique?

Anyone know whether you can use craft glue to attach a logo, then later (after Halloween, for example) actually do the sewing to make it permanent? I'm running out of time.

I haven't used glue before but I have used the iron-on stuff like stitch witchery. You just heat up the fabric, apply, etc.

glue would be fine or tape or staples, the stitch witchery stuff works good like the PP said, and with that you can probably put sewing it down for a while.

I know there's different types of iron on stuff. I don't want to go to the fabric store AGAIN ... I have glue at home.

Aileen's (sp, the stuff in a brown bottle) is permanent; I use it for attaching ribbon to needlepoint eggs. Just make sure the flatten the patch on the fabric with a book while drying so the fabric doesn't pucker underneath.
