Rough night

Man, I really thought I was in a bad spot last night.. greg has been out of town on biz since Monday and I came home from a really long, hard day at work and started with some pretty wicked CTX.. every 8-10 mins for almost two hrs plus NUMEROUS bathroom trips,,, (this is exactly how labor started with Evan and I did not recognize it as labor) also I had been really restless the whole day since about 5 am... I was a wreck !! There is NO way Greg would have made it home (5 hrs by car) in time (I go fast... )

Finally at about 3 am "things" settled down and I fell asleep............... I was so nervous

Just for fun, Jay is sick with a sore throat , I am not sure WHAT I would have done with the boys or to get myself to the birth ctr in the middle of the night with CTX!! drive myself?? Thankfully, I did not find out!! phew!!

I think I *just* had a stomach thing that aggitated my uterus..... ahhhh the joys of late pgcy!

So it wasn't just me... I was having mild ctx most of the evening... nothing strong enough for me to bother timing, stayed up because lying down agitated things. Finally got to sleep and was up every hour to pee, and of course, I was contracting. Still nothing really painful, but uncomfortable. I haven't noticed any serious ctx since I got up, but I've been sitting down most of the AM.

I'm also getting a sore throat, but I chalk that up to weather changes. We've been bouncing between hot and humid and cool and humid... I need to go turn off the AC because it's getting too cool in here. We're not even supposed to get to 70* today, but yesterday was supposed to go into the 80's. I think breaking out the humidifier would be a good idea... at least in the bedrooms.

I'm in the same boat. Enough cntrxns to stay up and irritated but not to time. This morning my uterus is quiet and I am tired. Go figure.

I'm glad you didn't have to attempt driving in labor! I hope you get more sleep tonight!

While I am happy for you that it didn't turn out to be labour (cause driving in labour sounds like a bad idea), I so wish I had some signs, any signs, that I will eventually start to get this baby out. Not even any BH around here.

But now are you too tired to make it through a work day, get home and get rest just in case you do go into labor tonight? I'm worried about you!

Well, thank goodness you did not have to figure out a way to get yourself to the BC. Greg will be back tonight, right??? Stay put, baby...stop scaring your mama!

Awww you are sweet to worry but don't, I am pretty durable! My practice situation really really does NOT leave me ANY choice but to soldier on until the 9th (or baby whichever comes 1st) I am extra ultra busy since EVERYONE is coming to "get in before it is someone else" !! ALLL of my wellness and long term check up pts are coming this week and next adding to all the regular acute plan ones and then there are just the people coming to see how big I am and chat and get a treatment! I admit, it IS tiring and I AM ehausted at the end of the day but I never work two longs in a row so I can manage it.. thansk for caring .. youa re sweet
