Did anyone else have to make a matching costume for a stuffed animal?

While I was trying on DS's tunic to figure out where to cut the hem, he looked up at me and said "Bear's?" Then wouldn't let me return to my sewing machine till I agreed to make one for Bear and Peter Rabbit too.

That's so sweet! I had to make coordinating ones for big brother and baby sister (luke skywalker & princess leia), and he's requested that papa and I dress accordingly (darth vader and "princess leia's mommy"), but no stuffed animals (yet).

a while back, were you struggling with something that over-felted in the wash? if so, did it work out OK?

After I did the stretching to get it to basicaly fit I added a needle felted border, and an extra strip of felted knitting to the hem. I'll post pics as soon as I get a chance to upload them.

My daughter is being Mary and "Elbee" is going to dress up as the little lamb. (Elbee is from www.loviebabies.com made w/ my hair" (that's funny, I got to mention Elbee twice in back to back posts!)
