Full moon

So, ladies, did the full moon do anything so far?

My family had a very restless night, the kids woke up constantly. Dh got home last night at 9:30 after a 14 hr workday and couldn't settle down all night, had to get up at 4am again, poor guy.
Ironically I would have been able to sleep, for the first time in a while but everyone else decided against it: So since dh was up anyways I decided to get me some DTD and will take a nap today, hoping for the moon to help me tonight.
I have no clue why I am so impatient with this baby, I am due Tuesday and always deliver right on time. Would it kill me to wait just a few more days? SIGH! Maybe I should have a beer tonight to help me relax...

I'm up with insomnia. NO signs of labor. 39+ weeks along... Went hiking and later spent time soaking in the moonlight. COME ON!!! Aren't these babies cooked yet? I'll say it here... I'm READY.

I was looking at the full moon last night and hoping it would help pull this baby out. No such luck. I did, surprisingly, get a great night's sleep after being up the night before with contractions that went nowhere. :

At least the moon was pretty to look at...

All my labor signs went away:

I know I still have three weeks until my EDD, but I don't want to be feeling like this the whole time. I would rather this be productive!

I even drug myself outside last night for a long walk when DH took the girls on their nightly wagon ride... no luck LOL

I was really really really hoping for the full moon to get things going and kick this prodromal labor into gear, but no such luck for me. The moon was really beautiful to look at though.

Looks like a couple DDC members were affected!

I knew I wouldn't be - too early I assumed. But yet, this child felt like what I assume it would feel like to have an alien trying to get out.

There were huge bumps and clunks and cervix pressure and shifting going on for hours that really pulled everything inside and kind of hurt! Not sure WHAT was going on!

Lots of strong BH and restless baby movements here, but nothing too aggressive going on. I did sleep pretty well for a change!!

Pixie, as I've posted, is sick, and went to bed at 5pm and slept through til 5:50am. DH had nightmares, but he has nightmares almost every night, so that's not too unusual either.

Unfortunately, it was overcast when I looked out, so although it was bright outside, I couldn't actually see the beauty of the moon itself. Maybe tonight!

I'm not expecting it to do anything for me... maybe the Nov full moon will be "my" moon. I still feel like it's really early for me (due 11/18.) I at least want to hold this baby in until next Tuesday (37 weeks) so that I can use the birth tub at the hospital!

The only thing that happened for us last night was an apartment fire a few doors down from us----And one of the things that went through my mind after we congregated outside the building watching the FD fight the fire was, "Just our luck, this happens during a full moon! Now, I bet this baby won't follow the lead...."

I was right.....Stubborn little brat....
