dyeing Aristocrats?

I have an Aristocrat that is working great, but looking stained and just sad. I want to dye it to hide the stains.

Any ideas how to do this so I don't ruin the cover?

I dyed mine using Kool Aid (instructions on Llamajama's website).

It turned out great- my only suggestion is to use more Kool Aid than in the recipe for more vibrant color. I did mine using some sort of heinous flavor like Ice Blue Razzberry or something, and it turned out an excellent bright turquoise.

It was very easy, quick, and fun.

I'm feeling inspired to try that out on my Aristocrats too.

And curious - how have they turned out for you?
