How to make a clown fish

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some ideas for making a clown fish. My son has to make one for a school project and asked me for some help. Anyone ever did one or some ideas? Thanks

It deppends a lot on maturity level. Then you have questions of size and purpose.

If you're talking about an older child they might want to needle felt or sew one for a soft cuddly fish. Papermache and paint is apropriate for most age groups and gives one a hard but slightly fragile sculpture. There is a wide variety of clays that you can either buy or make. For a very young kid you could just make it using 2 paper plates glued together.
