A question I can only ask here...

The last 4 months of my pregnancy were pretty much sexless. We had sex, but I experienced NOTHING from it. Oral sex left me feeling nothing. I was SO BORED with it. I wasn't even frustrated because I think maybe the blood supply was cut off to my clitoris or something.

Well, two weeks after the birth of the baby---my clitoris all of a sudden is feeling odd. Like I pee--and I feel a sensation. My birth was pretty easy on my 'girly bits' and I didn't experience the ring of fire or any tearing. I delivered on my hands and knees.

I'm curious is anyone else is experiencing odd sensations in your sexual organs since the birth of your baby? Oddly, last night when this sensation started--I also felt a little tingly when nursing the baby--which I know is normal, but I don't recall ever experiencing with my first child.

Ugh, I mentioned it to my husband by way of asking him if he remembered me saying it felt odd after our first daughter was born.. now you know he's got ideas in his head, right? Aren't you getting close to the 'safe' window since it's been almost a month? I know my husband is counting down the days! Our last OB said 6 weeks... but this time the OB said 4-6 weeks.. so he's already getting antsy!

My mind is ready but no way, is my body, even though I didn't really tear. (tiny bit) I was ready with my first after 6weeks and with the 2nd, 3 weeks, so we will see.

I can't wait to have sex again... post partum is the easiest time for me to have multiple "o's"!

My drive is back to but all I really want to do is make out a lot We've both been so tired lately that we haven't been able to.
Seriously, I'm just glad it's back because it's been gone for years because of my ppd after my second.

I'm emotionally ready altho a little nervous, I had a cesarean and ya know, just not sure how things will go. You'd think not having a vaginal birth would be easier emotionally to return to sex but I have a whole new set of anxieties. Tomorrow Eidie will be five weeks old and if I'm still not bleeding, it will be 3 whole days of not bleeding since she's been born. DH and I can barely be in the same room together without winks and lewd comments so we're eager to get the dang show on the road!

I think nursing really gets the hormones moving around & you do start to feel things. Its kind of good after months of not wanting to.
