How else are you?
By the way, everyone loves the pumpkin hat my little girl wears. They all think she is very cute and ask me if I made it I give you all the credit

So tell us what is going on in your life... there's no posts here anymore except "I had my baby!"

Wanna see a 1-min video of my baby? Here

Oh marly! Thanks for passing on the compliments. I'd LOVE to see a picture of your baby in my hat. I have a purple hat I still have to send to you, I'll try to get that out this week.

It's funny, I feel like my whole identity is wrapped up in still being pregnant. People ask me how I am, and I can't think of a more appropriate answer than "I'm still pregnant". It seems to encompass everything, from the mild period-like crampiness to the heartburn to the general not comfortable-ness.

Something cool though: DH's coworkers threw him a surprise shower last week. He came home with a TON of stuff. His entire trunk was full of presents, and they were all very nice and wonderfully generous. I had to do two more loads of baby laundry to wash all the clothes and blankets we received.

I don't mind still being pregnant, I considered my due date (Halloween) to be the first day I might go into labor, and I've always expected that I'll birth in November. But it is kind of lonely when I come to visit here and all I see are birth announcement threads, with the occasional post-partum thread thrown in. Thanks for noticin' me, ladies.

Hey there! I was just thinking about you yesterday when Ellen wore her darling pumpkin hat. Everyone compliments us on it and I brag about this very talented mom in my ddc who made it! She looks very cute in it, if I do say so myself!

I remember the last few weeks of my pregnancies, it does seem to encompass everything about your life. Enjoy it - it is over all too soon!

I'd love to be pregnant still

I envy you. I want the big firm belly with the baby moving inside. I loved seeing my pregnant belly in the mirror.

Though I do love having my DD as well.

It is my DD's EDD today 30th.

You are not alone! It is lonely on here and kinda depressing seeing all these baby announcements but all of us will be holding our babies really soon!

Me too - so miserable. DD has come home with a cold, and it looks like DS is getting it - so much for my getting a rest by sending her away to stay with relatives. I'm pretty sure I will NOT miss being pregnant after this one. It breaks my heart every time I see "How did you birth your October baby?" Every time I think - I didn't!

I'm here, too. And due today.
I'm actually hoping that the baby stays in until Thursday. I want to go trick or treating with the kids tomorrow night.

I'm still here, too. Ten days out. I'd like to wait until Thursday or at least tomorrow night, too. This is the first year dd really "gets" halloween, so I'd like to take her out. Plus, all that walking can't hurt either, lol!!

My due date was Sunday. I was happy to wait until my doula got back from a conference, though. Today she called! She's back! I'm ready!

Do you hear that, babe? I'm ready! Are you? :

Here's the picture of her in her Halloween outfit and her cute hat. You can't see the stem very well, but she's all cute.
By the way, her grandma is very concerned about her birth mark on her forehead. I've decided it never ends! First everyone bugs you about still being pregnant than they bug you when they come. Dh's entire family hates her name and think she will get teased and his mom is very concerned about her birthmark and if it will fade. Seriously people, doesn't ever end!

So true! I'm witcha Aylaanne...my due date was Sunday. I feel like I can't think about anything else or do anything until I give birth. I feel paralyzed in about to give birth mode. Help!

I'm hoping to have my baby before the characters on Scrubs have theirs (Thursday night). But that's mainly just to keep myself amused. Since obviously the baby has her own schedule that has nothing to do with my "goals".

Thank you so much for sharing that picture! I'm so happy to see that she looks so cute in it! The birthmark may fade, and it may not. You should ask your MIL, "what if it doesn't go away?" I doubt grandma will stop loving her just because she has a mark on her forehead.

You're welcome. You should be able to see her since you gave it to her She's very sweet in it
Yea, what if it doesn't fade?! Seriously. Oh well, I will always love her
I can't wait to see your little one. you'll still put a pumpkin hat on your LO so we can see how sweet they are , right?
