What's on your to do list? - Page 2

Oh wow! I can't even imagine where to begin! I have soo many things I want to get accomplished. Some of these items are "honey-do" items, but they are still on my list of things to get done.

*move crib into bedroom
*clean spare room and move sewing machine into there
*clean back room and move kid's toys back there
*finish sewing doublers and wipes
*regular every day cleaning and laundry
*vacuum out truck before adding car seat
*buy 3 more plastic bins for clothing sizes
*rearrange DD's room
*repaint DD's dresser with correct paint
*paint DD's headboard and have set up
*clean off desk
*move desk to make room for xmas tree
*after thanksgiving, set up for xmas
*make freezer meals for after birth
*make grocery list for DH for hospital snacks (grapes, oranges, ect.)
*pack labor bag in Dec.
*have everything for labor and deliver in truck and ready to go by 15th of Dec. (I had DD on pg week that happens to fall before Dec. 15th with this one.)

I know there is more, but I can't think of it right now.

Speaking of pg brain! We went to Toys R Us yesterday to buy DD's helmet for her scooter for her 2nd birthday and walked out without the bag! I had to go up there this morning to go get it! :

Hmmm....my list keeps getting shorter and shorter. The closer I get, the more I realize that it doesn't really matter if I get my kitchen cupboards cleaned out.

The important stuff is done:

Bought a minivan
Was gifted a bin of newborn clothes
Retrieved my cloth diapers from friend who had borrowed them
Found a dresser for new baby and moved it into a good spot

What else do we need?

a carseat (I am waiting to see if anyone buys one for us)
finish knitting wool covers
sling (someone offered us a used wrap that I love)

We have been so fortunate with this baby. So many of our friends are done having children and they are offering us loads of baby items. We haven't had to buy a thing other than the van (much needed since we will have 3 in carseats).

I have a super-duper long list to get done, so I'm not going to try to even type it all out. I do, however, love reading y'alls lists- gives me plenty more ideas for mine!

I have continued de-cluttering. Baby's closet is now set up and pretty much ready to go...it's free of most of the stuff that was cluttering it up and the IKEA chest of drawers is set up at the back. Hopefully, I will have the energy to get elfa shelving installed in there before she's born, but it might have to wait until February or so. For now, it is workable.

Our closet is almost all mucked out. I have some old clothes to go through and donate, and a couple other boxes of stuff, but other than that, it is in organized, workable condition (and all the stuff we wanted to keep from the baby's closet has found a home in there).

I have sold the antique sewing machine, the full size high chair (I decided to go with a Space Saver one), my son's toddler bed, the wingback chairs in our bedroom (and bought a fold-out bed for guests to put in their place), the old futon, and my son's crib bedding.

Now I need to dive into my son's closet and get it cleaned out. There are outgrown and unused clothes EVERYWHERE in there. Getting his closet re-organized is not really necessary for the baby's arrival, of course, but it's making me CRAZY.

I have GOT to do some of the cleaning that doesn't get done very often: cleaning drapes, ceiling fans, vacuuming the wood blinds to get rid of the accumulated dust, etc.

Baby's room needs to be painted and I need to finish decorating it. Not that she'll be spending much time in there for the first few months. It just makes me happy to set up a space just for her.

I also have to get my paperwork rolling. FMLA, hospital registration, etc.

And my desk at work really needs to get cleaned off.
