I made one!

I made a PooPocket! I haven't applied the fasteners yet. I used a quarter flat I got for a buck and cut up t-shirts. I was a dummy though and used a flannel dress shirt for the soaker which is like 1mm of thickness . I decided not to turn and topstitch. Other than being ugly is there any reason not to just use the zig zag/straight stitch combo on my machine? I was panicing about the elastic last night, it was a PITA and loose, but after washing it bunched up beautifully.

Oh and I had to call my mom because I couldn't remember if you were supposed to remove the pattern before sewing. Good thing she was awake.

PS it only took me 4 hours to make. Good thing it only cost pennies. This is my first project on my own other than a prefold.

Looks cute and they get so much quicker once you get the hang of it! When using flannel for a soaker I normally use 8 layers...but I have a heavy wetter.

Congrats!
