Somewhere to grieve

I feel like I can't be sad or talk about this in real life. My partner's Uncle dies in a car crash Monday morning. It was sudden and devastating for all his family. This guy was like a second father to A - they are a very close family. He left behind a wife and 11 year old son, I can not begin to imagine what they are going through right now.
I didn't know the guy all that well, but I am still totally shocked and upset about this. I think its a combination of what an alive and wonderful person he was, and also that so many people I love and care for (my partner and his family) are hurting so much. However I don't feel like I can show this, as what I am going through is so small compared to the rest of the family. I just hurt and I wanted someone to know. Thank you :

Huge hugs. Sorry for your loss.

I don't think your hurting is any less than others. It is very comforting to just sit and cry with someone you know is hurting in the same way. Don't be afraid to show them that you are hurting too.

mama. It is ok to let yourself feel sad, and to grieve.
