Anyone had sex? Really.

I am interested in how soon you had sex after baby.
I had a baby via c-section on the 15th of October and had sex last night.
I hadn't bled since 4 days after the c section, but started bleeding again this morning.
I know the normal waiting time is 6 weeks but is this normal to bleed after sex?

I had sex about 4 weeks after. I was bleeding slightly still before we did it, and noticed a slight increase in lochia after, but not much.

It should be fine as long as it starts to taper off again.

I didn't wait the 6 wks, and it was a lot of blood at first, then it slowed down again.

We had it at 3wks pp, but no increase in bleeding afterwards. Does it seem to be lochia or actual bleeding?

I just had sex on my anniversary (halloween) and Dahlia is 8 weeks today. I didn't have any bleeding but my lochia has been gone for a couple weeks now. I don't think it is uncommon to have some bleeding after sex at this point.

Haven't had sex yet, but with DD1 (c-birth) we did at just about 6 weeks and I remember having a little bleeding.

It was a lot the day after so it kind of scared me.

We did the deed at 4 weeks, bleeding was finished. I did have some spotting a few days age, not related to sex, just random spotting.

No increase here at 5 weeks. In fact, I'm getting the feeling the lochia is really, truly gone for good! But we'll see.

dtd tonight at nearly 7 wks. no bleeding...but i get the iud put in tomorrow so i'm sure the spotting will start up again...boooo

We did at 7 weeks postpartum (still spotting slightly), and I noticed a slight increase in bleeding. It tapered off, but I'm still spotting...baby is 2 months old tomorrow. Is that normal after a c-section?

I'm almost embarressed to say, but we had sex after 1 week! This second birth was so amazing and so FAST that I had no perineal trauma. Plus, I think because we did it on our own and DH delivered Hannah, we felt like superheros. My bleeding stopped about 5 days pp, but it did start again after we had sex. We waited 3 more days and it stopped again. Weird, but our midwife said that was pretty normal and that she didn't think most women would be up to having sex so soon afterwards, so who knows if it was the sex or just what would have happened anyways.

We waited until almost 7 weeks post partum. It wasn't as bad as I'd feared it might be. I had no bleeding, but that's probably because I waited so long and had little trauma down there.

it's almost 3 months later and the sex is getting better for me! but dp is having issues with his prostate now from the car accident.

We have only dtd twice. The first time, I thought that I had a sensitivity to the spermicide and had trouble peeing (sharp burning)for the next 24 hours. 2nd time, we didn't use spermicide and I still had the same type of issues but not for as long or as intensely. I'm nervous about giving it another go, even though I want to.

Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. We waited about 7 or 8 weeks, and have dtd twice since then. Its still uncomfortable as I'm STILL healing from 1st degree tearing.

See I don't even have tearing to explain it. I had a c-section. Maybe its the post-pg, bfing hormones. Man, I want to enjoy and look forward to it again.

On top of tearing its just a general unpleasant feeling, so maybe hormones would explain it. I tore in really strange places, and I wonder at times if they were more severe than 1st degree. You'd think by 3 months they would be healed already and I wouldn't have such heavy scarring?
