I would like to buy some to try to make a recycled wool wrap..
the have some black and some white at fabricland...would it be the right stuff or do you think it would wick?

Is there another way?

If it's poly and at least 1" wide, it will work. Don't get narrower, it is a PITA to sew.

You can use strips off wool as binding...let me find a link for you...
