NOVEMBER TTC in our 20s - Page 6

Congrats xixstar! AF finally came today for me so I can officially start my cycle, I hope that it rubs off.

Woo-hoo!! Congrats xixstar!!! BFP's are showing up all over...: for everyone still waiting to know
I haven't replaced my thermometer, and after four (?) missed temps, I don't think I'm going to bother. Yesterday was my birthday (27th), and CM was just beginning to look fertile, so hopefully this weekend & beginning of the week will be fruitful.

Halloween was great fun, but definitely a hurdle in the path to cutting out sugar. Must resist the candy! Here's a pic of DD as a Snow leopard. She was so proud of the makeup job - it was adorable.

I'll test again in two days to see if anything changes as I'm actually caught off guard by this as I was hoping to wait a couple more months. In the mean time, woot!!
Wow!! That is for sure a Congrats!!!

Would you like me to move you to the preggo section on the front page or are you waiting for a blood test? Let me know!! I'm so excited for you!!!

So can someone look at my chart? FF tried to move my O date to CD14 instead of CD12. WTF? Does that look right to you? I had to take all the neg OPK's to make it stay except for the one on the 31st. Because if I took that one out it'd switch it again. Now I'm confused. Should I have left it alone and let it be on CD14 or make it stay at CD12?

xixstar - congrats!

countrybound - it looks like CD 12 to me, but I am new to charting so don't take my word for it.

Well, FF finally gave me the crosshairs! Problem is, I have several temps above the coverline in the *pre-ovulation* phase. : I must admit that early on in the cycle I had problems with thermometers (had to use 3 dif ones this cycle b/c one died - brand new - and had an interim non-basal till I got the new basal therm). I was also really stressed out, and woke up a little late a couple of times, so that could have made some of my temps higher than they should have been.

Anywho, I still have a strong feeling that the O date it gave me is correct. Just in case, I will keep trying to DTD with my husband at least every other day for awhile to cover our bases. If my temp hadn't gone up today, I would have bought some more OPKs, but I don't think it's worth all the money now since there's a good chance we're past that.

Azuluna - I had the same problem as you did with thermometers, but thankfully mine was earlier in the cycle (right after AF), so it probably didn't screw things up *too* bad except perhaps the coverline.

xix, that is DEFINITELY a positive! Congrats!

I definitely think CD12 for your O date.

Good... I know my cervix was closed after that and I had a lot of creamy mucous. Thanks.

Your chart looks great. When are you testing again?

I'm not sure when I want to test again. My longest LP previously was 10 days. I'm 12dpo now. I'm thinking I'll try to wait until Tues, 14dpo. At least then I can be pretty sure of the results. Although, not sure what to think if AF still hasn't come and I get another BFN on Tues. No AF feelings yet and still have creamy and lots of CM. Cervix is low and open today though so AF could arrive soon. Just a waiting game now.

I have to agree with the others, and you, CD12 looks like the day. I don't know why FF would try to move it to CD14. It's moved my O day twice now, but it's finally landed where I thought it was. They first put it at CD15, then CD17, now finally CD18. There must just be something funny in the programming.

Monday Check in:
Name: Luna
Date: 11/5
Where are you at in your cycle: CD 23 - 5 DPO
Appointments: n/a
Symptoms if they apply: crampiness, fatigue, but I'm not really counting those as symptoms. My cervix went back up *really high* (can barely reach it) and is completely closed now.
Testing: One week from today!
Thoughts: I am trying to keep my hopes up without actually expecting anything (pun intended ). My temp went down a very very tiny amount, but it is still a high temp, so we'll see. : (haha finger sex) I will be testing on Veteran's Day with my testing buddy, countrybound.

Tara - your chart still looks great!

My Update - I got a faint line on a FRER on Saturday with FMU but didn't trust it. Yesterday I tested with a digital and here is the evidence. Picture

Monday Check in:
Name: Summer
Date: 11/5
Where are you at in your cycle: CD8
Appointments: On Wednesday I have an MRI to check out some persistent pains over my left ear.
Symptoms if they apply: The winnie-the-pooh song about waiting to O plays constantly in the back of my head.
Testing: Two OPKs left from my box from last cycle. Not sure if I'm going to bother again, but if I do, I'm definitely not decreasing my fluid intake just to see if I'm O'ing.
Thoughts: Nervous about the MRI. : I've had one before for my knee but I wasn't pushed all the way into the tube. A friend is having a hysterectomy the same day so I said I would try to send her comforting vibes while I'm having my MRI; maybe it will help to be thinking of someone else.

Congrats Sunshine!!!

Tested with FRER this morning and BFN. I can't even imagine that there's a line there....it's very empty. I'm 13dpo and my temp went up again today really high for me. Not sure what's going on with my body but I wish it would make up it's mind. My previous LP's have been 9-10 days and now I'm suddenly at 13 but still no BFP. I didn't think my LP would increase this drastically on my 3rd post BC cycle. Any thoughts??

xixstar and Sunshine: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! WOW!!! Those are entirely unmistakeable! Good luck over the next months! This is a great way to start off November - spread that babydust!

Sunshine - how are you doing? It must be a little weird the second time around...

TaraRae - your chart does look really good. Maybe you're one of those where it doesn't show up on a test right away?

I'll do my check in in a minute...

Monday Check in:
Name: Songbird
Date: 11/5
Where are you at in your cycle: CD5
Appointments: None. I'm done with appointments for a while.
Symptoms if they apply: None.
Testing: Not unless I have a chart that tells me I'm pregnant.
Thoughts: I saw my OB last week. All my bloodwork came back normal for insulin resistance, and dh's semen analysis came back normal as well. So all I've got to do is get myself ovulating and we can try like normal people. So the plan is, if i go 2 months without a period I will contact the office for prometrium to force a period and reset the cycle. We've got eggies, we've got sperm, now we just have to get them together! She said that I'm not "infertile" I just have "reduced fertility" and it might take a little longer but she's sure I'll get to have kids eventually.

Monday Check in:
Name: Tara
Date: 11/5
Where are you at in your cycle: CD24, 13dpo
Appointments: NA
Symptoms if they apply: fatique, craving beef jerky & strawberry
Testing: Another BFN this morning
Thoughts: Definitely hitting my frustrated point. I really thought that I'd at least get a faint line by today since my LP's have been 9-10 days previously. Ugh.

woohoo! and many vibes coming your way!

erlaine--hope the MRI goes well. when i had one on my head, they gave me an eye cover to put on and it helped me feel a lot better.

songbird--i'm glad to hear everything is sounding sorted out. to you!

tararae--your chart is still looking lovely! maybe you're just one of those ladies that takes a bit longer to get a BFP. : and if not, at least you've got a beautiful LP!

be back in a min for what looks to be my last monday check-in...

Woo Hoo!!! A lady on another site told me that I'd be having a GIRL if I were to be pregnant. She has some sort of Biology degree and does Lunar Fertility Charts. So far she's like 100% correct on Gender Predictions. I just thought it would be fun to tell you what you might be having LOL.

I'm getting anxious. Monday can't come soon enough!

Your chart looks so good! I bet you're just one of those people who don't get a BFP until you're like 18DPO. Hopefully soon!

Well, at least you know you're not infertile, so that's good news right. I hope to see you with a this cycle. Good luck!!
