:Abby has been up since 2 freaking thirty. Yes, that is 2:30 am, and is still going strong. I have to get ready for my day now and get DD1 up at 7 am and Abby is just hoppin' along. She is stuffed up, but gez, you'd think she would be tired! I know I am: I was trying to let myself stay home from work to sleep, but I need to keep those sick days since DD1 has asthma and I know Abbs will get sick more as well.

Ohhh you poor woman! that really sucks, what a day you have in store!

We didn't have a great night either.:Everyone was just up. Man. Hoping for a nap this afternoon.

Anika- love the pics!! Especially the family bed and the 'stashes!! They're great.

Speaking of skinny- (and the photos of everyone are so great!) Anyone else back to pre-pregnancy weight? I'm not doing anything, exersizing, (ok, I totally know that is spelled wrong, but I just can't make my brain figure out how it's spelled right now- but I assure you, I do know how to spell it) but I'm below my pre-preg weight. That seems to happen to me with nursing. I'm all bony on top right now!

I am back down to pre preg weight, but not below. I don't want to get below either. I was already 15lbs lighter than before I had Finn and if I lose more than that I'm gonna look sickly. And my butt's already flat. The funny thing is this time I still have some loose skin on my tummy. Not too bad, but certainly I don't think it's gonna go away.

Nice to see you corbinsmama!

arismomkoofie- let us know how your day goes

I am tired also...DH snored so loud and off beat I could not sleep at all, and our fouton (SP?) is covered in stuff I have to put away so he or I couldn't even sleep out there....Is it bad that I want him to have that deviated septum surgery for completly selfish reasons?

Wel today I'm on a search for disposable swim dipes and bigger swim trunks....we are going on vacation Monday and Tuesday to an indoor waterpark. Why oh why did I not think of this earlier when I could have ordered online, I have a feeling I will not find swim trunks and will only find swim dipes at the ymca - and I think they are only cloth (which I like, but is not very suitable for vacation). Wish me luck

Oh, wieght - I'm exactly at my pre-preg wieght, but a size smaller..how does that work? I am trying to lose 22 more pounds though - to get to the wieght I was at when I met my DH : Now if only he would do the same...ok, well he is the weight of when we met but he lost about 50lbs the first year we dated...he is still attractive now, but he was SOOOOOOOOO HOTT then Can you tell I've been looking at pics from when we were dating? I'm trying to decide - I may even go back to my old haircut and color...it looks so nice in the pics...

Weight wise I'm under prepregnancy weight, but I only gained 8 pounds or so the whole pregnancy, so I am actually up from what I weighed right after birth. I really need to lose 50 pounds still, sigh. I am working slowly on losing 20 or so before May because I'd like to be down some more before we TTC #2.

Small rant my friend just had her baby, and her doctor has her supplementing because the baby lost 8% of her birth weight. I really want to tell her there is no need, babies are suppose to lose weight right after birth, and 8% is perfectly normal. I'm not going to though because I would have hated someone telling me what to do right after birth. I am going to stick a copy of Dr. Sears book in the package of stuff I am sending her though. On the plus side she is breastfeeding, hopefully she doesn't hurt her supply with the supplementing.

As for Desmond he slept okay last night, he did 4 hours straight, which isn't as good at the 6 hours we've been doing lately but it isn't horrible either. I am almost finished shopping for him for the holidays as well, it is so nice, only have DH, me, 2 or three things for him and 1 thing for my father in law left to buy. I like being ahead of the game, though I'm not really that far ahead since Hanukah starts next week and I need most of baby's presents for that. Only need 4 things for him for Christmas (my hindu inlaws celebrate in purely the commercial sense of the holiday, and the everyone together for a big meal way) that we're leaving at my inlaws, so they can be smaller anyways.

I hope everyone gets some rest today....we had a yuck night, too...teething plus this morning Gianna woke up and vomited a couple times poor baby. I am so tired and trying to stave off a cold. Plus the lack of sleep and the cold are making my face start to break out. : Sounds vain, but I can handle my life much better when my skin is clear.

I am about 10 lbs below my pre-preg weight now....not good. I just can't seem to eat enough. A midwife at the last LLL meeting I was at told me I need to be eating 500 calories MORE than when I was preg...:
I was like...there is no way I am eating that much right now...I need to beef it up I guess. It's just so hard to get into the kitchen some days. I feel like she is sucking me dry.....lol she's easily the size of a one year old, and I haven't given her any solids yet....she literally eats every hour to hour and a half, usually on both sides. Crazy.

Went to Romi's pediatrician visit and she weighs 20lbs, measures 28inches. I thought she was fatter/taller than that, but at least she still fits in her infant car seat! Which is great since we don't own a car but do car sharing, so it's easier to lug the infant car seat than the convertible.

I haven't lost all my pregnancy weight yet. I gained 55lbs and I probably still have a good 15lbs left to lose. I don't own a scale, so I can't be sure.

Apart from that, Romi had an ok night. Woke up maybe 3 times. But Liam, that's another story. The coughing is really keeping him up. Bleh.

Sleep? What's that? THe kids get up too early for me, I always wish I could just spend another hour in bed with no one else in it.

Although at least I don't have to go to work, hope everyone gets some rest today or tonight at least!

Babe is CRANKY this morning, but she did like the banana I let her suck/chew on today. Cute.

I don't have a scale to weigh myself, but I fit into pre-p jeans so I must be back to that weight! Sometimes I suck in my belly just to remember what I looked like pre-babies.

DH-You are a nice son.
Andy-You sure are a happy man.
DH-Love you, bye!
Andy-Love you, too.

DH leaves and Andy sighs deeply..."He sure is a happy man..."

Melts my heart! Wish we could see DH more often.
I've been thinking about this little conversation all day. It pretty much sums what makes all the difficult family stuff totally worth it!

Ion seems to be feeling quite a bit better today, but now I have the sniffles. He decided to wake up to full wildness at 8am even though we go to bed at 5am : There was no way Kamrin and I were going to survive on 3 hours of sleep so we grabbed our pillows and slept on the playroom floor while he wore himself out in a safe place. Eventually he crawled in between us and slept until 2pm. My back is killing me but at least we slept. Is it terribly irresponsible to do this?

{{{hugs}}} to all you mommas running on no sleep these days! I guess we had a pretty decent night last night, but I just put her down for a nap at 5:00 PM and I bet she'll sleep 'til 7:00...so it might be a late night for us tonight.

montanamama - that is so sweet what Andy said to his daddy!!

I gained 63 lbs when I was pregnant : and I still have a lot of that to lose. I was up to 238 when I delivered her, got down to 217 very quickly....then somehow shot back up to 238!!! : I've been on Weight Watchers for 6 weeks and I'm down to 226. I want to get down to 150 or 145. Gosh, that seems soooooo far away!

Hi old friends!
I haven't posted in months. I sometimes lurk, but you all move so fast, I never think I'm timely. So, instead I'm going to post at the end of the month... Opps, now you'll never know I popped in to say hi
Anyway, things are fantastic with my daughter S. She's amazing... She JUST started crawling. I'm totally freaked out, 'cause we are moving (great move for us, great new job {DH's}, super location, but stressful nonetheless) and there are all sorts of things on the ground for her to pick up and (I imagine) choke on. Ahhhhh!: She keeps bonking her head too, it's scary.
As far as weight - my story is kinds funny. I started at a normal weight, I gained the classic 25, textbook. I was within 3 pounds of prepregnancy weight TWO DAYS after giving birth and I HAVEN'T LOST A POUND YET!!! (Maybe an exaggeration, I have lost one, if I weigh myself on a good day (Didn't I say I was obsessive) BUT, the nice thing is, I am much firmer! It feels pretty good. I eat A LOT. A whole lot. Mostly healthy stuff, except I have sugar cravings often.
Anyway, I just wanted to check in and let you know I'm still around, mostly lurking... (though I still can't keep up with you guys!)
