Freezing fresh apple cider?

I bought a coupe gallons of unpasteurized apple cider today. Has anyone ever tried freezing it? I would love to keep a gallon to use at the holidays.

Also, on a sad note, the first farm we went to today to buy our cider is now a huge community of $700,000 homes called Cider Mill. Sad.

I froze 5 gallons of cider last year with great results! It REALLY expanded though so next year hopefully we'll have apples and I will leave more room in my jugs.

Yes freezing cider is so great. I just pore out (and drink) a little, about to the top of the handle. Then there is room for it to expand.
