Hey y'all!

What did you eat today? :

I'll start:

am- spelt roll with hard goat cheeze and butter

lunch- roasted chicken with sweet potatoes and onions

dinner- french toast

i usually dont have bread 2 x in one day, but my kids took dinner in plastic baggies to the dr's office so french toast worked.

I'd love to see how others of us eat over the course of a day. feel free to post multiple times.

2nd breakfast: noodles/pork roast/carrots/bacon/

Black tea x2
Cherry falvored prunes

just 2 hallowe'en choclate bars - almond joys so there's lots of healthy cocnut right lol

Apple with peanut butter for snack

Leftover pork roast/bacon/rice noodles/spagetti sauce for dinner with steamed broccoli.

Breakfast: kefir smoothie with blueberries, raspberries and egg yolk, 1/2 cup oatmeal cooked with sour cherries, topped with cream and honey

Lunch: small meatloaf (pork & bison) sandwich and asian pear

Snack: half a homemade pumpkin tart, just the inside, made with sucanat

Dinner: beer & hoisin braised short ribs with oyster mushrooms, kale, mashed potato, and salad (greens, red cabbage, carrot, green & orange peppers)

post-dinner tv-watching with friends: carrot sticks and cucumbers with some sort of dip, and 2 mini-hallowe'en boxes of smarties (the canadian ones that are like m&ms)

Given the sheer volume of leftover hallowe'en crap surrounding me, I think I did pretty well today.

Gah you guys will make me shape up:

3 boiled eggs, 2 pears
2 bowls bean stew
3 boiled eggs (are they coming out my ears yet?)
handful of animal crackers (hey how'd these get in here!)
fried chicken, carrots
coconut cube
nother handful of animal crackers (and i'm glad that the box is gone)

I've been fighting to eat more protein. Today was a pretty good day as far as that goes. The animal crackers though... I somehow started eating sugar again and I'm trying to be better about it..

I also notice a distinct lack of green vegetables on my list. Hmmmmmmmm...

This thread was a great idea gilamama! If this were a regular thing, I think it would help me be better about food. "No, can't have that, the TF guys will tease me about it!"

Wow this is fun....I've been a big fat pig lately. I haven't eaten a stitch of halloween candy though, I don't like it :

I haven't eaten meals per se, but here is what I ate in list form. I'm not using the words organic or homemade in from of anything so just assume

pizza with sour cream to dip
2 soft boiled eggs and some toast with butter, and also some chocolate pudding
another egg that DS didn't finish
mocha
another mocha
half a hamburger and some soup (chicken broth and pureed root veggies that were roasted)
Somewhere by now I drank a quart of milk
a load of broccoli I needed to eat up before it went bad
Dinner with the kids was chicken and veggies and baked fries

I'm not quite sure where all this food is going but I've been hungry all the time lately
