Thanks for the compliments girls. I really like how it turned out and like the simplicity of the white. I think after the baby arrives I will stamp the feet on the inside of the cast with the baby's name.
Erica - I am sure my DH would love to take credit for making the edges nice and straight, but that is not what happened! After the belly cast was dry I took a sharp pair of scissors and cut it to make everything more even.
Jennifer - To attach the ribbon I used a small hand screwdriver to drill a small hole on either side of the belly cast after it was dry. I shoved the ribbon into the hole and also through a washer on the inside of the belly cast and tied a knot on the inside so it wouldn't go back through the hole. I thought the washer would give the hole a little more strength.
