What other classes do you teach?

I offer a selection of classes to students, both group and private, and I was considering some new ones to add for next year.

Currently I teach CBE, CBE refresher, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, newborn care, postpartum education and am testing a series of natural parenting classes, grandparent class and teen childbirth/parenting classes. I think I am going to drop the grandparents class and instead offer a free discussion night once every few months for grandparents and grandparents-to-be. I've also developed a little "home made baby food" class. Babywearing seems to be incredibly interesting to people and though babywearing hasn't caught on to the moms, I think i tmay if there was a class that promoted it!

What do you teach? Did you buy a curriculum or create your own? I used several CBE curriculums to develop my own for cbe and the teen classes, I created my own for all the other classes and actually sell a curriculum for the diapering classes now.

At the hospital I work for I teach the CBE Prep, Express (two day class and all day class), Siblings class, Refresher, Grandparents, and Happiest Baby.

In addition I also offer all of the above privately and also teach infant massage and couple's massage privately - oh yes, and hypnosis for birth.

All of the classes that I teach privately I created the curriculum for and the hospital classes came from the hospital curriculum although I have been able to tailor them to suit the way I teach as well

Once I get truly rolling with this stuff I am hoping to teach an "Early Bird" Pregnancy Nutrition course, since by the time some folks take classes it's late to get the full benefit of good nutrition. I'm also hoping to teach some nutrition for kids classes after having read a lot of really interesting Sears stuff lately.

I think it would be nice to offer a "Childbirth Choices" seminar for early pregnancy too to discuss the options of home, birth center, and hospital birth.
