Last night I really thought it was "time" I had constant and pretty strong contractions, loose bowels, etc.. but it felt just like when I went into labor last time around (in the early stages) I really thought I'd wake up in the middle of the night in full blown labor.. didn't happen : they waned out instead. But, when they did hit.. even after tons of past false labor I was a bit freaked it's my THIRD kiddo, I've been impatient for weeks, but when I actually thought it might be real labor the thought of well.. real LABOR scared me : Mabye I got my worry season out of the way anyway!

So maybe that was a good "dry run" to help with the mental prep? Hopefully you'll feel more zen for the real thing.

I feel ya. This is #3 for us as well and I'm in this weird space between impatient and totally freaked out.

Now this is TMI but I was constipated momentarily this week and between the intense groin pain I am having and sitting there pushing on the toilet, I got that OH MY GOSH I AM GOING TO BE IN LABOR feeling wash over me and scare me to death. It hadn't seemed so real until that point.

I am going to be in labor and I am going to have that intense pain and urge to push and feeling the baby move ever so slowly and then a ring of fire and (of course) eventual relief. WHAT did I get myself into?!
